Alison has over 30 years organisational, strategic and programmatic experience in the INGO sector with over 15 years experience of international development interventions. 

 

Through an INGO career that started with Amnesty International UK, in the mid 1980s followed by a move, in the late 1990s, into international development with Y Care International and then as CEO of the International Children's Trust from 2004 until 2015, she has gained a broad  base of knowledge to bring to her work as a consultant.   Alison was, for two years, one half of ASPS Services, a partnership of development professionals offering services anywhere along the project cycle.   She is now a sole practitioner.  Her services include: 

Programme and project intervention consultancy  including: situational analysis, baseline survey, project design, implementation and management advice, monitoring, donor reporting, interim and final evaluations.

Research and social investigation.

Impact materials writing for a range of stakeholders at local and national level. 

Organisational and strategic review and planning.

Editing and proofing of international development documents: reports and research.
